The Big Yellow Ball

Ball yellow for a dog a happy dog when the ball thrown she runs towards the ball pawed the ball and chased it when it gets stuck, she needs help then chases the ball around the bedroom barking so happily in her play time

Darlene, what a fun poem about you and the dog. I have my cat who likes to chase ring bottles from milk around the house. She hides them under throw rugs, too. I love dogs and cats! Panagiota

Your pooch sounds adorable, Darlene. Nice work on this etheree. As per your question, the sapphic stanza is very hard to write and the four lines took me days. Maybe the meter will come easier to you! Best wishes, carolyn

To answer your question Darlene. It is almost right. There are a couple lines, that seem to repeat the same number of syllables, but can easily be edited, to be in sequence. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. (I think 2 lines are repeated with 4 syllables and line with 8 syllables missing in this)

Heidi I notice my word ball is in the wrong place. It should be under the word Big. I will try harder for the next the next time. I am going to reread my poem to see where I went wrong. I think it was a good try. Will do another later.

Dogs are the best playmates if you do not have a cat; I have both but I am deathly allergic to one, and it is not the dog. Nice one, because it has all the true dog feelings -love and play.
