The beauty secrets of poetry
The beauty of poetry,
Is that it will never leave you stuck up a tree,
Never expecting you to take it literally,
Never seeking to define,
how words should align,
or what will make them shine,
Never doing your thinking for you,
or telling you what do,
Only encouraging you to try something new,
Only encouraging a self-awareness in you,
that will bring all your beautiful thoughts into view,
to show others what poetry can do for you.
Always throwing you a lifeline,
Always giving you beauty to find in every line,
with beauty secrets enough to last you a lifetime.
