The Arrows

"The Arrows"

The arrows found their mark as intended.
Deadly and silent did they straightly fly!
In no way were they to be defended.
Righting wrong this was meant to satisfy!

The bowman's heart had been deceived and hurt.

Into her heart these arrows would insert!

The tongue is a powerful weapon. The words it speaks can do a lot of damage. Always best to think before you speak. :)

Jan, Good day to you! Thank you ! We use words to express poetic thoughts but the words spoken in anger are venomously evil! I hope your poetry reading showcase went exceptionally well! :-)
