The Advent of Spring
Sprigs
of green
grass pop up
on the brown lawns.
Emerging blossoms
send their varied perfumes
wafting on the gentle breeze.
Trilling mockingbirds serenade
their audience. Nature announces
the arrival of long-awaited spring.
