It was a great idea for a prompt - I'd love to see this one done again as encourages us to review our poems, others to perhaps review a short curated list and discourages those who just generate their entries. All the winners were excellent :)

Hey DD, did you dilly dally on this one? I can feel the despair in your words and the ache of the carefully selected ten lines.. Love how you opened and finished the poem.. signs of an intelligence wordsmith.. I had no idea this one would be yours.. I found it quite profound and also very deep... Was so difficult picking just ten winners and you squeezed in.. Thanks for participating in my last contest.. Congratulations on your placement..

Angst ridden souls have written lots of great poetry. The list adds a lot of pictures. Which do you choose for today?

It's lines from previously written poems - so the composite of many x

I love how your poem flows so well and with so many deep emotions, youv picked lines that go well with each other so well, in such a seamless manner. I especially love “I'm too afraid everything is impossible to fix I can't catch my breath” i think sometimes we all feel that way. And what makes your words stand out is that, you speak for so many. Love this, best wishes

Thank you so much Ink - I really liked this prompt idea, it was so contemplative to assemble. I write from an introspective angle frequently, so think that made the task easier. I could have happily sat for a while producing jigsaw poems though - really enjoyed it :) thanks for your kindness x

Thank you, I filtered on poems that contained the word storm to make it easier. Having 3 billion poems helps too lol
