First Place
The first Spring daisies,
again, the purple violets,
the birds are rejoicing,
the grass is green.
The Summer meadow sways,
where the trees quiver,
sun kisses each wildflower,
a murmuring creek flows.
The Fall days sigh,
and trees let go,
of red and gold,
twirling, whirling and flying.
The Winter trees bow,
while white snow drifts,
and north winds wail,
everywhere snow is glistening.
