~ Placed First~

Spring clothes the Earth, In silk of green, Parading her in beauty With a rare sheen. Summer adorns the plants, With many a bloom, And causes the bees, To hum and zoom. Autumn makes the leaves, Orange, ochre, and yellow, And blesses the season, With varied fruits mellow. Winter brings icy winds. Dance of cold breeze! Snowflakes fall in torrents, Making the earth freeze!
