I
love
old books.
The odd smell,
the tattered pages,
the strange way writers penned stories.
Ever since a child- I loved the feel of an old book.
I search book stores to add to my collection of covers crumbling and pages yellow.
There
is
nothing
more calming
than decaying books.
To save them from falling apart,
I give beloved books a home to rest in old age,
and I love touching their tattered pages- caressing each word written so long ago.
