That Sweet Touch

Make my life a little sweeter, You know I don't like spice, If you sprinkle some more sugar, My life would taste so nice; Wish that bitter taste won't linger After disappointment, Just a little bit of sugar Should act like an ointment; When my temper gets a trigger, The result is so hot, Just a little bit of sugar Will save me a tight spot; Painful days I lose my swagger And feel so sad and sour, Just a little bit of sugar Would make me no more dour; Why do you add to the rigour? I'm not asking for much, Joyful moments that I'll treasure Ought to give that sweet touch. 02/21/17

Your sweet touch is really sweet. There is a style called Rubai, the plural version of that is rubaiyat. The rhyme and the meter is different (aaba)(perfect syllable). Try it... you like it... Sweet....

You are right, Jo....we don't need much to put a smile on a person's face, to abolish sadness, to encourage. Yours is just that little bit of sweetness that can make a whole lot of difference! Well done! ~ Regards // paul
