That One Moment of Solace
Sometimes the warmth of the fire and the cacophony of Christmas gatherings, leaves me wanting solace. I don my jacket and step outside into the crisp evening setting. Snow is wafting downwards, coating the spruce boughs in a generous blanket of heavenly love.
My nostrils sting with the chill, I shiver at the biting gale and breathe in the scent of pine firewood burning as it encircles the neighborhood on its journey.
How captivating is nature, she plans her offspring’s lives, caring for, nurturing them all
with her gentility and grace.
