That Long Night

That long night: There I stood in a dusk Wandering like a vagabond, Finding ways to escape, Surrounding so numb, I fumbled. Time fleeting fast, I could smell the breeze, As it kissed my lips. Darkness of the night, Mocked at my sight. In that stillness of night I stood, The waves of trees created magical spell on me. I shivered in that dull night. I escaped a beat, to find a ray of light. Ah! That long night surrounded me, With darkness all around. My legs refused to move, Dullness loaded alcove. And there I stood all terrified, in that long night.
