That Extra Mile
That extra mile,
many have gone,
bringing needed comfort,
to special ones.
We'll never know,
how kindness can change,
their direction in life,
because you came.
Exchange places,
with them for a while,
then you may understand,
their absence of smile.
No judgement needed,
just a helping hand,
let them know,
you understand.
