His smile is like a light
Reflecting the joy inside
The warmth, the music, the life
Playing with colors so alive
They thrive in sincere inspirations
Hues of hope falling like raindrops
Silencing the darkness of clouds
Who don’t know the beauty and truth
Found on the soul of one so splendid
The heart that trembles with a love
So enlightening – it thrives and abides
Inside where there is such peace
Only God could have inspired this faith
His eyes, reflections of the Son
Who lives inside the heart of my beloved
The inspiration for laughter so warm
It assures me that I am someone
Who has been blessed with a unconditional
Love so alive, so brilliant, so good
That only God could have stirred up
This joy, this hope, this faith and grace
This never ending wonder that grows
As my heart and soul become so close
To the one who plays pleasure on my heart
And whispers a caress to my thoughts
He is mine – this wonder of love
Who God sent to me on the wings of hope
A light to bring to me – peace so perfect
It feels like an intimate place to be myself
To breath easy the kindness so accepting
To know the elation of a grace so special
It is alive, like his smile, his eyes, his light
Welcoming my heart and soul to know
With love, I can reach toward every dream
With the hope that my prayers will become
A reality, an actuality, a truth, an experience
Fulfillment much wiser than I can illustrate
The life we share, my answered prayer…
Is a life of hope, faith and love
Sent down from God above
To assure our hearts and souls
That His grace is always enough
To fill our lives with sincere and gracious
Kindness that only comes from real love!
