Thankful For Each Day My future days...once endless sky... horizon, many years away. In younger years, no fears had I; so many more beyond today. Horizon, many years away, years even in their sets of five; so many more beyond today... more time to live my life and thrive. Years, even in their sets of five, my time till sunset seemed so long; more days to live my life and thrive. Upon this earth, I still belong. My time till sunset seemed so long. But, my perspective now has changed. Upon this earth, I still belong... yet thoughts of future rearranged. But, my perspective now has changed; not many sets of five ahead. Yet thoughts of future rearranged; now thankful for each day instead. Not many sets of five ahead... in younger years, no fears had I. Now, thankful for each day instead... my future days...once endless sky. Sandra M. Haight

Well executed pantoum, Sandra, and great message. Time speeds up as we age, and it is sobering to think of one's mortality. Being thankful is so important for one's outlook on life.
