For Your kindness and light

For the music that silences doubt
Thank you, Lord…
For Your answers to my prayers
For the chance to feel so blessed
For the wonder of sincere praise
For the quiet that calms me down
Thank you, Lord…
For Your stirring of sweetest worship
For the feeling that redemption is worth it
For the yearning to be closer to You
For the assurance that freedom is true
Thank you, Lord…
For Your sacrifice and Your compassion
For the mercy that gives me the answers
For the road to a promise of forever
For the expectation of eternity in heaven
Thank you, Lord…
For Your ability to give generously
For the bounty that brings me belief
For the life that you lived and gave freely
For the time when I’ll finally be with you
Thank you, Lord…
For Your friendship that lasts eternally
For the relationship and alliance
For the closeness that keeps me secure
For the faith that I can truly know you
Thank you, Lord…
For a hope – deep down in my soul
For a love – that never grows old
For a peace – within my heart
For a light – that smothers all doubt
Thank you, Lord…
You’re my smile!
You’re my laughter!
You’re my light!
