Thank You
I shall retreat now, to shadows on walls
Observe my own self, where silence speaks truth
Where eyes are hidden, no love to recall,
In my heart's playground, now fearing my youth.
Reflect on lost love, forgive all life's dreams
Colour them in waves, drown them in sorrow
Listen to one's heart, when thoughts are serene
Breathe hope in today, there is no morrow.
Wrapped a tongue's silence, to listen a gift
To savour a smile, seduce one's own heart
Resist not the peace, afford not the clown
Embrace the small things, allow Time to drift
Whilst floating on clouds, it's time to depart
Lay still in silence, resting my pen, down.
