Terror

Terror Today I saw a hawk suddenly appear swooped and grabbed a sparrow standing on a phone line. It sat on an old oak tree tearing it victim apart and since it was sated other sparrows flew about without fear. The human world is more complex we use religion to commit murder, this time as often Islam a peaceful religion, has once again been used as an excuse for murder. This modern life soaked in blood, but we only react to what we see, grisly murder enacted by idiots, who do not deserve to be understood by liberals. Yet I wish there were a phone camera ready when drones tear limbs from the innocents´ bodies, most of them children who do not understand why.

Nice poem! Unfortunately, there are too many willing to do terrible things, too many willing to allow those terrible things to happen, and too few wishing to stop those terrible things, and even less willing to do something to stop those terrible things... perhaps hope lies with our evolutionary descendants... but then, the way things are progressing, we may have no such descendants... Hi dear, Another memorial day and what do we have but the dead, maimed physically and driven insane? Such a sad poem of violence and insanity you've written. Is it useless to be a poet purporting to have some special insight into a hell of which I have no real comprehension? Sorry, sometimes I feel hypocritical just using a pen when so many have suffered, the children - the most vulnerable. What do you remember of the occupation of Norway during WWII? Reminders have no effect.
