Tempo

Pulse of wet rain Heavy as oil In a huge train Drowning loose soil. Rain in full swing Now alters grounds As deluge brings Wet all around. Umbrella hands Fumble with gale To dare withstand What rain avails. Zigzag strides shift In downpour here As if to sift Some dreary cheer. Wetness makes bleak The mood and tone As if to speak Of frozen bones. Can you sense now A harsh incline Where wet knows how To fluster fine. Leon Enriquez 09 September 2018 Singapore
