Tell Me, Who Do You Say That I Am

You hold us in Your gracious arms when it is time for us to finally depart, showing us the light to traverse safely along the dark alleys of misery. O, Lord of all, these humble words flow out of the tormented heart, for You give us the strength to bear the pangs of our anguished lives. You guide us with the divine beacon across the sea of tempest to the shore to reach the eternal abode of peace, gleaming in ethereal bliss with Your glory. O, Lord of all, you suffered for all of us bearing silently the burden of the cross. You give us the fortitude to face the agony with unfailing faith in Your sovereign power. You glow in the wilderness of our lives like the omnipresent unfading pole star, helping us discover the holiness of soul, and realize the real meaning of living. O, Lord of all, Your omnipotent shadow escorts us negotiate the chasm of existence to the end of our destined journey, where in your sublime radiance we gleam.
