Tears Flow Like a River

Tears flow like a river when I am mad I don’t know why, being mad does hurt Intense pain always makes me very sad Tears flow like a river when I am mad Or when someone I love treats me bad It’s the kind of thing I try hard to avert Tears flow like a river when I am mad I don’t know why, being mad does hurt.

I always tell my students you cannot be mad unless there is sad under it.

There is a great deal of truth in that, Caren.

This is so true Milton. I think we have all been there and feel as you feel. Your courage is always welcomed by me, to share. God bless you and comfort you through painful times my friend...

Well written Triolet, Milt. We all have different things that bring the tears out. I cry most in a state of reverence or when I'm anguishing from my inability to be who I believe I am. My disappointment with myself is my deepest sorry. Thanks for sharing your emotional poetry with us, my friend. Have a great week! Bill

Thanks, Bill. I don't cry much, but when I do it's a good one, and it sort of clears up a lot of things in the process.

Tears flow that we cannot staunch, a river, an ocean, and still they fall. More so over sadness than anger, for anger will pass more quickly than sorrow.

This is true. I was thinking sad in terms of depression. When I have pain I get depressed, but that doesn't rhyme...so. You are correct in some ways, but when I am mad I cry. So did Deb. That's one way we knew we were upset with each other. We would both be teary-eyed.

Straight enough communication in this Mr Hankins, there are many hurts we each Have had our share, it's deeper at certain times Than others, although it's the same one often Yet we can move forward, it's just searching Inside, and allowing memories to slip away ( hard as that concept seems )God bless.'

Thank you, Joe. This is pretty much how I see things. I really do cry when I am angry, and I get sad when I hurt.
