Tea Time

Spice tea is for me, hot with honey on a cold winter's day. Pretty pink rose cups, are filled to the top to sip away. On a hot summer's day, ice cold peach tea with sugar is so refreshing. Tall glasses filled with herbal tea, ice floating from side to side. Anytime is the right time for tea, just tuck me in tonight with some chamomile.

In the south, mostly we drink iced tea because of the heat, but occasionally I will drink a cup of tea. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. I believe that chamomile tea is one that has healing properties as well. Sara K

Hi Paula, This poem reminds me of my Scottish Nana who greeted us all during our visits with an offer of a hot cup of tea. I think you are right on with tea as it has so many medicinal qualities to it. I like a hot cup of chai with honey in the afternoons these days. Enjoyed!
