Tcb Days

Some days are meant for TCB, Those chores you’ve been evading, That sea of obligations Into which you must start wading. You make a list and then decide The first ones you should tackle And every one you finish feels Like severing a shackle. Though some have online access Others may require some travel, But once you’re on a roll, don’t let Your fortitude unravel. The feeling of fulfillment As your tasks are taken care of Is as pleasant a sensation As few others I’m aware of.

I grew up with chores, my mother saw to that. In the military there were "domestic" chores we had to do or else, like making our beds each morning and polishing our shoes, etcetera. I used to have a lady do my housework, but she was slow and was costing me a fortune. I quickly learned to do thing myself. Enjoyed this poem. M

Man, I do not even know what TCB stands for, I'm so out of it. Yes, I really know the feeling of finally getting THESE out of the way. It feels glorious, just as you conveyed with this cute poem.

I need to clean out some closets. I'll take this poem with me as I approach this terrifying task. Good job, Ilene! Janice
