Tan Lines

once I touched the light I did it was so white I ran and hid you never warned me about life that it was like that you never told me about the rain or to wear a hat wish upon a star they say in the bright of the dark wish for the better part of a day in the wilds of a park where a fountain of knowledge flows where a sky of dots and of circles glows i had so much and it made me sad all that insignificant gold i had so much it made me happy all those friends to hold sometimes I was cold and I swear I truly needed heat sometimes I was hot and slept without even a sheet once in a while I felt lost and confused once in a while I was found and amused tell me about the caterpillar about the butterfly tell me that was a fairy I saw and not a made up lie words were sworn but they were only floating bubbles words were born and suddenly I played in puddles each day from joy I cried each day filled with love I tried

ahh, I fell back on this one by chance and it's the time when I knew you were my FAVE poet. Hi, Armand. I am just here to see if you are all right. So little that I hear from you any more and I am a bit worried. Sure do hope you are ok.

This one is unusual to me. It is not quite your regular style and yet it is very nice. I have a feeling it has much deep meaning behind it. I can't believe I was not seeing your poetry regularly by this point. I recall that you were kind of ignoring me in those days! I remember seeing your comments to others and wondered, why doesn't that poet come visit ME more often? I'm so glad that I have now become someone you see regularly!!! Because you know that you are now one of my FAVE poets!!
