Play on the poem "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" by T. S. Eliot (1888–1965).
I said to my dog, "Let us go then, you and I,
while pink, wispy clouds traverse the azure sky.
Oh, do not bark, ‘What is it?’
Let's just go and make our visit
to your favorite tree so you can whiz it.
And then, we’ll go walk a little by the beach,
to hear the mermaids singing, each to each.
And if you're real good, we’ll stop by the bakery nearby
and share a fresh piece of that yummy peach pie.”
Does that sound good?
