Swing
She sits on a pendulum swing
wandering what the future brings
watching the pallid evening moon
turning into a black balloon
all hopes diminish with a ping
head bowed low, shoulders in a sling
canary hearts omit to sing
when night skies splay their mist and brume
she sits on a pendulum
She rocks her body, fingers singed
two bladed shoulders without wing
the night has closed up her cocoon
the stars have blinked and lost their loom
she can't be Queen without her King,
she sits on a pendulum
