Swimming Through My Life

Swimming though my days as hard and as fast as I can Feeling the energy of the hourly waters Refreshed and energized when I stay in my lane But is there more? I decide to find out Swimming in an ocean now A sense of daring flows through my risk-taking mind I say things I dared never say before And now that they are out, more people realize I have been paying attention Not just floating along with the sun on my face.

Not an ocean water swimmer, Karen. The salt stings my eyes, and I don't venture far from the shore line where my trunks get filled with gritty sand, not a pleasant sensation. When young I could swim the length of an olympic pool underwater! I bet Michael Phelps couldn't do that! / Thanks for stopping by. / M
