Swimming Through My Life
Swimming though my days as hard and as fast as I can
Feeling the energy of the hourly waters
Refreshed and energized when I stay in my lane
But is there more?
I decide to find out
Swimming in an ocean now
A sense of daring flows through my risk-taking mind
I say things I dared never say before
And now that they are out, more people realize
I have been paying attention
Not just floating along with the sun on my face.
