Swan Lake
“Isn’t he marvelous!”
“Yes marvelous!
I like the way he glides”
“Yes
His whole body suspended
You know”
“He has that elegance only a secluded peacock shows”
“Secluded peacock?
Damned if I’ve ever seen any other”
“Just a whim of mine
a rustic image’
“Quite an incredible imagination”
“But see how wonderfully he holds his form”
“So patiently waiting to perform”
“And here comes the swan
Look!’
“Yes!
See how the light illumines”
“Incredible!”
“Oh his eyes!”
“Steady unemotional
“And SHE
The snow white bird”
“See how she skips along”
“Without a ripple”
“The quiet in the winds is STUPENDOUS!”
“Yes
Ethereal”
CRUNCH!
“My God!
I’m leaving!
I thought I could handle it but
I never could stand alligators”
