Cats rock! What better friend than one who does not judge, is always there for you, understands your celebrations and your silence, loves you in spite of your moodiness. Great set of senryu. hugs to you my dear friend! :)

You said it better than I did in the poem, Yes, can also be abused by their owners, which tries me insane. I don’t comprehend, yes I like our brothers and sisters and we are not to abuse them. Thanks for coming by. Pabgie,,, they used to prom with my cat has her picture on it, it’s called you’re so adorable!

Regina,, I wish I had the vanity to imagine myself, some grade poet I really don’t.. perhaps someday I will.. sometimes as women we choose the wrong men. I know I have done that more than once. I know far better now . But I know if I live in my life over again I’m not the same mistakes.. Mistakes help us grow, we don’t really die from them. Thank heaven.. Pangie cc

I enjoyed reading this powerful write with a great cat picture. Animals can be with a person to the ending & miss them more than people. Friends can/do hurt/cut like a knife. Why, I do not know but they can. Have blessed day writing away..........................

Right on, Paula! Cata do not insult or ignore youM They don’t have some kind of hidden or busy agenda, perhaps to take care of. My cat is looking at me right now like she understands what I’m saying.? Come to my side when she knows something wrong. Run well they’re busy. They’re on their way too bad for you. I know that story. Worse our friends who become enemies and try to Do you in, And well a good friend slammed the door on your face. It hurts 100 times as much than an enemy.. they forget you like you never existed. Do that for me going to my Bible their name. And I love God take care of them because he always does.. more than I could ever do. I’m a limp noodle I can’t do anything.. just remember the next time someone hurt you you give their name on the card to God he’ll take care of them. Your life doing good I am so sorry people hurt you. How my order is now put their name on and let it go. You don’t know the power of God if you have not tried this! Thank youL pangie xx

Thank you, Elena. It has been a lot of work and a lot of sleep.. do you know I don’t write short poetry or two word comments.. that’s just not me. I tried it and it doesn’t work.. when I first came here. I just had to be at the top of the shower and my picture of the first page.. I got over that egotism. There were other things to do in life have my picture on the front page.. It was fun for a while and then, I was burned out. I want someone else to have their picture on the page.. It’s a lot of fun and that’s all.. Thank you for all the help you’ve been Elena. Pangie xx

The woman that died in the poem was poem with me. This was a fictional story, obviously. When I lose a friend,….I feel very close to death. It is a but Form of death anyway. not physically emotionally. This will take many months to get over, Thank you Pangie .xx

Everything is OK here in California. The rain finally and that’ll mean a lot of flowers will grow soon. That’ll be great. Dear Pangie, I love your poignant senryus for it portrays a portrait of a woman's final days, betrayed by love and abandoned by those she thought were friends. I liked the imagery of her last sunset, her trust shattered, and her faithful cat waiting evoke a profound sense of loneliness and betrayal. Daniel! I think you would make a profound movie revewer, in assition to your profession.yo remind me so much of my late friend, Roger Ebert the best movie reviwer ever! Your comment reads the way he spoke. In human relationships, no life is far from a bed of roses. Some friends are like Judas Iscariout! Many poems dont get near this topic.as if life is all a party? I dont think so.it amazes me how cruel people can be. It is never addressed here at all.But it does exist here in Spades.my reply to David says it all. A world tainted by deceit, is endless. Surviving whole and sane, takes courage, and then some. Thank you. Pangie xx

I like these individual Senryus that seem to go together, too. The second one hits the reader, making us ask, 'what, the end?' Not a fun topic of no more poems, the end. Good selection.

Yes, David, the second Senryu is mysterious,I hope to see what other readers think. This poem is similar to a Rohrschark Test)) I did not plan it that way..it is how it turned out. I wrote this months ago. Its not my usual fare. Thank you for being a stand by friend! Pangie xx

Hey! To be read by you twice in one day! What a treat..cats are clise and faithful friends, I have been blessed to own 24 cats so far. Humans can hurt us fae just walk out of our lives when they feel like it. A pox on those people. Masquerading as friends and no , they’re not. The good friends standby you and don’t leave. Cats never leave nor do they cause grief or attempt in anyway to harm you. Here’s the cats. Pangie
