Sunday Just Give Me Some Direction

I was gonna do this, then gonna do that But I lay with the dog instead It's Sunday, still only 10am I really should get out of bed I have ordered a food processor To give purpose to my day I've moved to be near a charger It's an achievement, come what may I want to achieve more Let's get a list on the go Silent meditation at the monastery Art interaction at the gallery Shred red cabbage and carrot and attempt to invent the best coleslaw in the world... Hmm somewhere I can touch stones... I like that kind of thing Charity shopping to restock my reserves of hint of the goth clothing Something family outing style (oh but the moaning when no one agrees...) In fact can I be transported in my pyjamas with the dog just to somewhere prettier with waves and a breeze - I'll write a poem about it The burden of 'the shower' looms The absence of 'the breakfast' mocks The list of things I 'should do' shames I shall clean the bathrooms whilst listening to music... Any time now I'll leap out of bed in a minute (Just so you know) I'm derailing my dreams By remaining half asleep I must not just make a list But some promises I keep I do everything in stop/starts Great merit followed by being still Fretting the in-between "My life won't start until..." I'll choose to just be Somewhere quite soon It'll definitely be Not much before or after noon For poetry helps Me unburden my mind But sometimes I use it to waste lots of time I'll immerse myself into Sunday Take myself and others (if willing) Experience something Something fulfilling
