Sunday

Sunday

it is the grey light
of waiting snow
that greets my sleep worn eyes.

tiny snow buds
gathered like the giggles
of many children

who long for Christmas morning.

You are a good poet and story teller I love to read your work. Thank you for coming north to read mine. I write with a pen carved from an icicle that formed at Valhalla's door.

I'm allergic to snow, but addicted to giggles so I'll give you a pass;-) Besides, what's the north country without some white stuff? V2 is stellar, IMHO. ~ john

Wonderful poem, Patricia... though I normally prefer not to think of snow prior to December. Undeniably delightful.

Don't think of it as snow but as giggles of children waiting for Christmas. Thank you.

Can't complain, no one listens anyway lol, neither do I. Busy writing and transcribing cleaning people on to do bog Fall clean up outside and in. Noisey but it will be back to quiet soon. Joey hates the disruption to his routine but gets plenty of scitches and tickles so that makes up for the noise. Got to go now take care. Talk soon.
