Sun-Kissed Days
Oh, sweet Springtime breeze you know what I need,
days that are longer, the sun brighter,
and in my garden drifting butterflies,
birds singing,
soft raindrops falling on my head.
Those winter storms have now fled.
And from tangled bare branches green leaves bleed,
vines on the house are stronger and tighter,
flowers are swaying under azure skies,
dew clinging,
in the new earth seeds I have spread.
On the porch- a spider's thread.
