Summer's Heat

We make sensual love in Summer's heat;
under a cloudless cerulean sky.
And her August kisses taste April sweet,
gentle as a breeze and soft as a sigh.
As her emerald green eyes mesmerize,
lush lips, ever so gently, nimble mine.
And feeling feelings words can't verbalize,
two souls somehow magically combine.
Our body heat morphs into sizzling hot
and our hearts pound as temperatures rise.
In that moment two soulmates share one thought,
and reality's free to fantasize.
When embers spontaneously ignite,
passion's flame burns on a hot Summer's night.
