Summer Goodbyes

Emerald shall turn medallion- crimson blades fall, zephyr breeze slows; the end of summer warmth is near- FAREWELL to the cherry blossoms, for it’s time to embrace Autumn. Willows shall weep, yet mums bloom, and the SUMMER heat shall be no more. howmanysyllables.com FAREWELL, SUMMER Poetry Contest Nette Onclaud September 6, 2019

this is beautiful...my heart is always heavy when summer leaves...autumn makes me think its brilliant colors are like the grand finale of summer before winter turns everything drab...love this one though my friend...you captured the beauty within your words...:) hugs
