Summer At the Lake

Blue gills, catfish, screen door, slam. Cloth hat, fish lures, summer, ma’am. Laughter, echo, lake plunk, jam. Lying in the sun with my cousin Cam, Pretending to sleep, but it is a sham. Comfy and cosy in the warm sand, Listening to the kids, happy I am. Bird swoop, blue sky, summer, damn!

Thank you Mike. It was so hot this summer I am glad to see it slowly cool down.
