Disaster might fall upon the juicy strawberry and the sunny disposition. Hugs

Jan, you have such a sense of humor....the last line. We've just had Rose of Sharon blooms today for the first time. Time marches on!!

Good turn in the last line, my friend. Strawberries and sunflowers capture the essence of summer at its beginning and end!

Summer drought was taking place when I was in Florida a couple of weeks ago, then it looked like Monsoon season. Weather is unpredictably weird with climate changes. Great Haiku, Jan.

We are in the gulf stream Lin , The UK mainland had up to 30 degrees last week - we managed about 19 or 20 degrees for 2 days - then we had 'manannan's cloak' mist which even disrupted flights

thanks Lin, I changed my original poem as all i read was 'summer' and not 'nature' in my notebook at school lol I managed to get the last spot in the contest with this one. we have full reservoirs so no hosepipe ban for us, in fact I think we have had our 2 days of summer this week! hugs jan xx
