Submit yourselves, than to God Resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7 part one

"Submit yourselves, than to God. Resist the devil and he will flee [leave] from you, "James 4:7. "Come near to God and he will come near to you." James 4:8 This message is to all of my brothers and my sisters in Christ Jesus! This one thing we should all know and all fully realize: All by ourselves [and only solely relying on our own human strength's--we are rendered to be totally powerless-- "to resist [to fight against] our enemy the devil and have him flee from us. During his wilderness temptations by Satan, the devil only departed from him [Jesus Christ] for a season. Until another time when it would be made possible, for him to tempt Jesus Christ again, in another season of weariness and weak ness. If he didn't permanently depart from the Son of God and the Son of Man, during his 3 1/2 years of earthly ministry on the earth. What makes us think that he will permanently depart from us human beings? The mind of a sinful [carnal] man [or sinful woman] is death, but a life controlled by the spirit is life and peace. The sinful mind is hostile to God. It cannot submit to God's law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. Romans 8:6-8. Paul was addressing the Romans with one basic fact. He was meaning that to be carnally minded leads to much more than mere physical death: it also leads to the eternal death of both our spirits' and our souls'. First in hell, and latter on to: the White Throne Judgement of Jesus Christ and the Lake of fire! Do not fear those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul. Rather be afraid of the One who can destroy both body and soul into hell. Mathew 10:28 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness leading to holiness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things that you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have been made slaves to God, the benefit that you reap is holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:20-26 Once you have been born again, you only feel the temporal effects of sin but you no longer are able to experience your eternal separation from Jesus Christ, cause of them. You must still confess your sins and be forgiven. Roxanne Lea Dubarry 02/12/24
