Strife
As the snow falls softly to the ground,
I wonder why family with hardened hearts won’t stop
Creating the storms to disrupt my life
For so long, they carry on creating this strife
I have spent many years letting go like clouds do with the snow
Still, the problems they cause, pile up on me
As their mission is to steal peace, for me not to be happy
Still one sits at this site on my follower list, watching me
Waiting to strike like a snake and make the next move
Invading my life, worse than the weather
Yet I know their stormy day will come, a matter of time…
When they must answer to all they have done!
