I have asked myself this question many a time about many people, but in the long run... I know that there is a purpose for me to trust them if need be... Very interesting write Robert. I am looking forward to reading some more of your writings... Take care... :)

So much depth in this poem. Interesting question to ponder about. Sad that people spend their lives sometimes unable to get past the scars to really live. Insightful piece. Thank you for sharing it and for your kind words on my poem. Karen

Clever double Tetrac , Robert , with the second mirroring the first verse . Thanks for your kind words on the Haiku . It's an interesting form , and can be difficult to nail-down , at times ...

We only know someone as deeply as they allow us to know them....and as deeply as we are willing to look. Another insightful piece, Robert. Hugs, Donna
