This is spectacular Jan! What a stupendous write my friend! It's as if the picture was created just for your poem! I would be inspired by that picture as well! I do love a good storm poem, they are fascinating, and I love to see how other people write about storms! Especially when the sun trickles through the clouds! Such a grand piece, I loved each line of your tender Haiku! Great Work!!

Wow...I can imagine this artistic photo as a wall mural. Excellent haiku and I see why this beautiful photo is a favorite Jan. I will have to find out how you are posting your own photos. I have only learned how to post photos I get off the net. Email me when you have some time. Thanks, Connie : )

The area where this was taken is about 7 miles from home, we drive there and then go for a walk. We tend to walk a great deal as it is so so beautiful here and the scenery is always changing especially at the coast and often we can be out walking after midnight and we take our torches with us as the streetlights go out at 1am:-) hugs jan xx

Thanks Gary it looks like moonlight but the sun was just peeping through making a silvery light on the sea and it was very beautiful:-) I'm not sure if the final line makes it a 'real haiku' but i'm happy with the first 2 lines:-)hugs jan xx
