Storm's Purpose
As the pouring rain falls, it cleanses green leaves
It washes away dormant thoughts away that had returned
The Hummingbirds don't mind the rain, feeding in its shower
Tapping raindrops can be heard above on the metal roof
It's like a song with instruments all joining together
Then, the thunder claps like an audience listening
The dry ground welcomes the drenching water
The Gray sky doesn't seem too bad as refreshing air rushes in
The pouring rain is needed, a blessing during a drought
Storms have a purpose. Mother Nature has no doubt
