Storms and Toothache
Right now, I'm sat sideways in a big leather armchair
Of a type I'd like to own
In a thinking space
There's a storm outside
But the sun streamed through the windows
The dog has rearranged his blankets
Everybody loves each other
I have a cold but wearing fluffy pyjamas & slippers
My wisdom tooth has done a bit of damage but I'm on a salt water gargle regime
Nothing is misaligned on this day
Despite all the odd angles there could be
I'll tell everyone here of my revelation
(Maybe the dog first, see if he invests)
The storm broke a lot of trees in the forest yesterday
But there's still a forest
And I don't need to worry about tying my thoughts together in pretty packages
Because today is forgiving
