Still Wandering

To Saskatchewan prairies, now doomed to snow cover, the freshly cut harvest settling with dew, and frost, the remnants of sacrifice, and I too partake, in the breaking of bread- all at due cost, for here my life is at stake, and set with the burning of the sun on golden fields mid afternoon, to etch my destiny, until my life is done
