Impressionists so misunderstood at a time when this style of art was unappreciated. The imagery of the exploding paints is clever for this Van Gogh! B0l

That particular painting is like a sky full of supernovae all going off at once, I wonder if he was after taking magic mushrooms or some hallucinogenic, with Van Gogh’s mental disposition anything is possible, an excellently described Monoku Paula, cheers David

His painting certainly could be explained as an explosion of color in his dark blue sky.
