Stare Into the Secret of the Cosmos
Luminous stars bring us glimpses of other worlds
We stare into their depths, knowing at a subconscious level
We are but a speck of a speck of a speck
Our Milky Way is but one galaxy in a parade of galaxies
Our souls know that we know little, maybe nothing at all
Compared to the knowledge of the sun, stars, and moon.
We stare upwards, receiving answers, wondering about the heavens.
They are watching, waiting. We are connected by a silver cord.
Which will take us back to our source when we leave our flesh amongst the dust.
