Stardust and Us
Our bones are dusted with drifting particles,
Shards of ancient fragments
Flow through our crimson veins
And deep, midnight-blue streams.
Each star holds a pattern of its own,
A glowing map etched across the sky,
A story told in flame,
A note drifting through time.
The universe reveals itself in the hush,
As galaxies rotate and morph,
Nebulae stretching, fading, expanding,
Shaping existence from the void.
Stars collapse, shedding their weight,
Only to rise again in a different form.
Endings return as new beginnings,
And time moves, infinite and unending.
Dreamers run their hands through empty space,
Searching for something to hold on to.
Stars shift,
Pulling echoes of the past
And writing our future in new possibilities.
Like an unspoken truth,
Auroras move in an unbroken light through the dark,
As the universe expands in endless unfolding.
We step forward in uncertainty,
Small within the infinities,
Yet woven into the endless motion of their making—
Ours, a brief flash in the universe.
And
In the quiet of the cosmic sky,
We listen, we understand.
