Stardust
My loyalties lie, paper thin
on these life slices held within
A memory; so dear, so near.
Like shards of glass, reflecting clear
hues throughout this room. It has been
Too long. As stars dance along, sprint
through my mind like some scarlet wind.
I question how, year after year,
My loyalties lie
with salty sweet promises, hints
of salvation; I am convinced,
rest in the stardust of these dear
stars within minds. I have no fear,
for this is where; along the fringe,
My loyalties lie
