Star Light Star Bright
There is a star with my name on it.
Not always visible, as it, like me,
has a tendency to wander off
drift behind a cloud
play Hide and Seek
with the moon.
A bit shy; it will hover
near the edges of the horizon
unsure of its brightness
lose itself in the Aurora's glow.
One night the moon smiled at him
as he sat on its quarter tip
gazing at the earth
wondering if people
searched for him
as he searched for them
in the twilight
of flickering night lights.
