Standing in Fire
Superman, must be super?
as super is in his name…Right?
Well, he never worked hard
for what he received.
He was never tested to his limits,
as by his name he has none.
This man,
would spend a life time,
questing…
ever trying to figure out,
what it is he missed.
Batman! Now that is a hero!
Dark, and mysterious.
The car! The car!
Oh…, and rich beyond need.
Hum.
Unless what you need,
you can not buy?
Issues, and a cartoon?
Perhaps…, no.
A fireman!
Yes, that is the answer.
No ladies…don’t get all crazy,
not the kind you think,
although…
as I consider…
that would be alright as well.
Smile.
The hero of my heart,
will never let me down.
Standing in the fire,
beside me even now.
There is no limit,
no boundary,
that “He” can not pass,
or tear down.
King of heaven,
God above…
Rescue, and keep my soul…
Give me peace! (whispered)
