pierce this gloom glass can hold stone & stone can hold glass both hold my gaze sun and moonlight gather me in let me sit in quiet contemplation of the unreal dust motes monitor everything like drones corners draw no attention to themselves just look at this light these colours shapes joins marks made by the chisel or the brush of the long gone do we see something or feel it? am I free to sit here? am I free to leave? outside where the light isn't dappled nothing is held in place no one watches over you watching dust settles on the ground waiting for us to kick it up

Dear DD, i felt so much reading this, sometimes, we feel stuck, in places and moments and also more, how we are all on our own, while the rest watch as spectators, dust settling and more. I especially felt the lines “do we see something or feel it? am I free to sit here? am I free to leave?” Sigh’ so touching and so evocative, a poem that flows with deep thoughts, youv interpreted the art so well! Pleasure always reading your work~ hope everything is going well. Sending you light~

Hi, I saw this as a mirror image of the beeping poem but through a different lens - it was whilst I was waiting during the surgery, so not even sure my head was on straight x glad you liked it, it was soothing to write
