A lovely list, Valsa, all you have said is true, though I'm yet to reach the third stage:)

Ha, ha! Did you notice some of the similarities between infants and old-timers? They are both bald. They need diapers. They can't stand upright on two legs. They have no teeth, little hair,... We could go on here. ~ Just sayin'

Great reflections, in and out. Physical, and of spirit source. I think I was intrigued most by the relatable honesty of your perfectly worded original write. Never alone, life within your poetry, guided by a loving, forever all-powerful muse. Blessings.

Incredible poetry, packed to the gills with original and fascinating images. Plus, you have excellent diction. Valsa, your profound ideas can be summarized in a few succinct phrases. As we age, the roles we play in our lives inevitably shift. Win big

Oh Valsa, I love this! So straightforward but compelling. How fleeting joys can be and how we can long for things we ill appreciated at the time.

Thoughtful perspectives on life, Valsa. As we grow older, role reversal occurs so naturally. Best to you.

Love: “Looked into mirror with curiosity, it being a reflector.” Years ago, I rode my grandson around in a shopping cart, joking with him about the people in the mirror…”whaaat? Why do they keep following us?!” Much laughter.

Kim, I can very well understand your grandson's natural curiosity to know why people are following ! It sounds so cute .....
